What is CSN? CSN is a not-for-profit network of health and behavioral service providers designed specifically to serve Arlington Developmental Center (ADC) class members. In addition to coverages you already have, you can choose to add CSN to your existing benefits package. CSN facilitates enhanced benefits, including access to Nurse Case Managers as well as expanded pharmacy benefits, which includes over-the-counter medications and a mail order option. How did CSN get started? CSN was established to facilitate health and behavioral services to ADC class members in the ongoing Federal class action lawsuit United States v. State of Tennessee, et al.(Arlington Developmental Center). It is a remedy to the quality of care issues and concerns with services delivered in the community. MEMBER INFORMATION Who is eligible for CSN? CSN was established to facilitate health and behavioral services to ADC class members. All people transitioning out of ADC into the community are eligible for CSN benefits as well as people living in the community who are added to the Arlington Class by the Federal Court. Do I have to give up TennCare? No, CSN is an additional health and behavioral services benefit package for ADC class members. CSN providers receive additional reimbursement for spending more time with you at an appointment. In addition, the CSN pharmacy program covers more pharmaceuticals, including over-the-counter medications. What is the advantage to me to become a CSN member? CSN members have an assigned Registered Nurse Case Manager who works with you, your family/conservator and other members of your circle of support in the coordination of all your health and behavioral services. You will also have access to a broader range of services in a more timely fashion that may not be available under other health care plans, such as: medical equipment, additional therapies, better coverage of pharmaceuticals, coverage of over-the-counter medications and a mail order option. Many requirements often associated with other health care plans, such as pre-authorizations, pre-certifications, referrals, formularies do not apply when utilizing CSN providers and pharmacies. PROVIDER NETWORK Is my doctor/other provider in the CSN network? Recruitment for participation in the CSN provider network occurs on an ongoing basis. CSN receives more provider applications - almost every day - so the list of providers in the network is constantly changing. If you, as a CSN member, desire to receive health services from specific providers and do not find them on our List of Providers, please contact us .
